Project Manager
A project-driven organization in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a Project Manager to own the full delivery lifecycle for customer projects spanning engineering, procurement, manufacturing, installation, and accounting. This role sits within an established PMO structure and works cross-functionally with engineering, account management, and business development teams. Travel up to 25% is required, including occasional international travel.
Full-time, onsite in Omaha, NE. Travel up to 25%, including potential international travel and occasional weekend stays based on project and bid demands.
$75,000 to $95,000 per year, plus performance-based bonus.
What You'll DoYou will develop and maintain project schedules that identify deliverables, milestones, and resource allocation, and will provide regular updates on schedule and budget status to the PMO and executive leadership. Tracking and reporting variances between project progress and established baselines is a core part of the role, as is preparing and delivering formal project documentation in coordination with engineering and other relevant departments.
Contract work is a significant component of this position. You will perform contract review and participate in contract negotiations alongside Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Market Development Managers, and will manage contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle. You will visit customers as needed for negotiations, project kickoffs, status update meetings, and closeout.
You will schedule and facilitate internal project meetings, coordinate with engineering on internal project management needs, and lead bid management activities including bid scheduling, facilitating review meetings, and managing the bid approval process. You will also contribute to developing and implementing new project management processes in alignment with PMO standards.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent work experience
- 3 or more years of project management experience with demonstrated accountability for on-time, on-budget project delivery
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects
- Experience reviewing and negotiating contractual terms and conditions
- Ability to understand technical requirements related to project management and contract administration
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365
- Working knowledge of project management software, with MS Project preferred
- Strong communication, presentation, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently within defined job responsibilities
- Ability to travel up to 25%, including internationally and occasionally on weekends
