Join SGH Concepts, a division of SGH Redglaze Holdings, Inc., in an integral role as a Commercial Construction-Facade Estimator. We are an Employee-Owned Company specializing in the manufacturing, distribution, and installation of premium architectural products, including exterior wall cladding, day-lighting systems, and interior solutions. This full-time, in-office position is based in our Omaha office and serves a multi-state region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Analysis: Accurately interpret complex construction documents, including architectural/structural drawings, specifications, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Project Quantification: Utilize internal software to develop precise quantity take-offs for materials, supplies, and labor required for specific project scopes.
• Bid Strategy & Documentation: Organize and maintain comprehensive online bid documentation with a focus on accuracy and customer service.
• Collaborative Communication: Deliver critical numerical and written data to the Sales team to ensure the successful acquisition and execution of awarded projects.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Industry Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction estimating.
• Educational Background: Degree in Construction Management or Construction Estimating is strongly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
• Domain Knowledge: Proven understanding of material take-offs and optimization. Familiarity with wall assemblies (metal flashing, insulation, sub-framing, and vapor barriers) is a plus.
• Professional Attributes: Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
