Project Manager-Construction and Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership:
  Manage site planning, facility upgrades, and capital investments, from project inception through construction, bid, and award.
• Budgeting & Contracting:
  Develop and control project budgets, review payment applications, and manage vendor contracts.
• Operations & Safety:
  Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and OSHA standards.
• Vendor & Site Management:
  Coordinate contractors, conduct site visits, and ensure maintenance tasks, such as HVAC or mechanical improvements, are completed effectively.
• Strategic Planning:
  Handle long‑range planning for facility enhancements and manage space optimization to improve operational efficiency.

  This role may require after‑hours work and assistance with unplanned needs such as snow plowing.

• Construction Expertise:
  Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and building codes.
• Project Management
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to build schedules, manage budgets, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Communication
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to act as a liaison between external consultants, contractors, executive staff, and employees.
• Technical Proficiency:
  Ability to read technical drawings, plans, and specifications.

3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, or a related field.

A degree in construction management, facilities management, engineering, or significant work experience.
