Estimator - Commercial Construction

Overview

Estimator position in the Commercial Construction Industry. This role provides accurate cost estimates for projects ranging from small renovations to large commercial construction projects, supporting cost analysis and project management efforts.

• Develop project cost estimates based on project blueprints, specifications, and scope of work
• Analyze, interpret and calculate all direct and indirect costs related to the project
• Identify and anticipate project risks and profitability opportunities
• Collaborate with the project management and construction teams to ensure estimates reflect project scope accurately
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders throughout the estimating process

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
• Familiarity with construction software such as On-Screen Takeoff or Bluebeam
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment

Salary Range: $85,000 - $130,000 per year depending on experience.
