Position SummaryCastle Contracting is looking for a Civil General Laborer in the Omaha, NE area. The General Laborer supports the completion of projects by assisting on excavation and utility projects. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience on similar construction projects.

- Excellent pay based on experience and skill set.
- Utilize common construction materials, hand tools, and power tools.
- Assist at job site with general duties.
- Communicate clearly with the crew as well as project staff, trade partners, and clients.
- Be self‑motivated and work well with others.
- Must be an existing member or willing to join the local union.
- Knowledge of proper use of tools, materials, and supplies used on construction projects.
- Previous experience in commercial and civil construction projects.
- Experience in excavation/earthwork/underground utilities.
- Proven commitment to safety and building relationships with a team.
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
- 10‑hr OSHA, Trench Excavation Training and Sewer Layer License a plus.
- Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization.
