Position: Construction Manager (Agribusiness/Ag Infrastructure)

Position Overview

The Construction Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects while leading internal crews, coordinating outside contractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is not a desk based project management role. The successful candidate will be highly engaged in daily operations, project execution, and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage construction, maintenance, and facility improvement projects
  • Direct daily activities of internal construction and maintenance personnel
  • Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and vendors
  • Establish project priorities and allocate resources effectively
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and safety requirements
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various facilities and properties
  • Identify and resolve project related issues in a timely manner
  • Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership
  • Drive accountability and maintain high performance expectations across project teams

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project execution
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
