Join SGH Concepts, a division of SGH Redglaze Holdings, Inc., in an integral role as a Commercial Construction Estimator of operable walls, facades, day lighting systems, non-façade and storefront metal projects. We are an Employee Owned Company specializing in the manufacturing, distribution, and installation of premium architectural products, including exterior wall cladding, day lighting systems, and interior solutions across a multi-state region. This position is full-time and in-house at our Omaha, NE headquarters.

• Technical Analysis: Accurately interpret complex construction documents, including architectural/structural drawings, specifications, RFPs, and RFIs.
• Project Quantification: Utilize internal software to develop precise quantity take-offs for materials, supplies, and labor required for specific project scopes.
• Bid Strategy & Documentation: Organize and maintain comprehensive online bid documentation with a focus on accuracy and customer service.
• Collaborative Communication: Deliver critical numerical and written data to the Sales team to ensure the successful acquisition and execution of awarded projects.

  Experience:
  
  Minimum of 5 years in commercial construction estimating, including detailed review of specifications, drawings and bid documents.
• Knowledge: Proven understanding of material takeoffs & optimization. Experience with architectural products and wall assemblies (metal flashing, insulation, sub-framing, and vapor barriers) are a plus.
• Education: Two- or four-year degree in Construction Management or Construction Estimating is preferred.
• Software Tools: Bluebeam, MS Office & MS Teams, Google Workspace, Spreadsheet proficiency is key.
• Professional Attributes: Self-motivated & well organized, reliable with a strong work ethic and the ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
