Senior Project Manager
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building client relationships, and has a proven track record of delivering commercial and industrial mechanical projects on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of mechanical construction projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout.
- Lead project teams consisting of project managers, engineers, superintendents, and field personnel.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and resource plans.
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and project requirements to ensure successful execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, general contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Identify project risks and implement proactive solutions.
- Oversee procurement activities and subcontractor performance.
- Monitor project financials, including cost control, billing, labor productivity, and cash flow.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and company procedures.
- Provide regular project updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
- Support business development efforts and contribute to project pursuits when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of project management experience within the mechanical contracting, HVAC, plumbing, piping, or construction industry.
- Demonstrated success managing large, complex commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Strong understanding of project financial management, scheduling, contract administration, and risk management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
