Position Description

Responsible for fueling, lubricating, inspecting, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of construction equipment and vehicles to ensure safe and efficient operations on job sites.
* Minimum Class B CDL with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements and a clean driving record*

• Fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy equipment, trucks, and construction machinery
• Perform daily preventative maintenance inspections on equipment
• Check and maintain fluid levels including oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, and DEF
• Inspect equipment for leaks, wear, damage, or mechanical issues and report findings to maintenance personnel
• Report mechanics with minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
• Keep work areas, service trucks, and fueling stations clean and organized

• Previous experience working with heavy equipment, diesel equipment, or construction machinery
• Basic mechanical knowledge and understanding of preventative maintenance practices

• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and diesel engines

• Stoop, bend and crouch
• Have full use of hands, arms and legs
• See well (either naturally or with correction)
• Lift up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
