We are seeking an experienced Industrial Insulation Project Manager to oversee insulation projects from kickoff through completion. This role will manage project execution, budgets, schedules, crews, customers, and subcontractors while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Target Range: $70K-$130K Base+ (depending on experience)
Potential travel incentives/per diem available for mid‑west projects.
We need candidates who are willing to start ASAP.
Bilingual is a plus.
The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing industrial insulation projects
, including piping, equipment, tanks, vessels, boilers, process systems, and mechanical insulation applications. This person will be a strong leader who understands field operations and can bridge communication between customers, field teams, and leadership.
- Manage industrial insulation projects from estimating handoff through closeout.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, schedules, and subcontractors.
- Lead project planning, execution, and daily operations.
- Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements.
- Track project progress, budgets, labor hours, and productivity.
- Communicate with customers, general contractors, plant managers, and project stakeholders.
- Conduct site visits and support field crews as needed.
- Identify risks, delays, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage change orders, RFIs, documentation, and project reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and customer requirements.
- Support estimating and preconstruction efforts when needed.
- Contractor's License required.
- 5+ years of industrial construction experience.
- Experience managing insulation projects or industrial mechanical projects.
- Strong understanding of insulation systems and applications.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, specifications, and scopes.
- Experience managing crews, schedules, and production goals.
- Strong customer‑facing communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
- Minimum 2 years tenure.
