Construction Superintendent

As the General Contracting Superintendent, you will serve as the on-site leader responsible for driving project execution from groundbreaking through completion. You will coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, and self-perform operations while ensuring every aspect of the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading all day-to-day field operations on federal construction projects
• Managing subcontractors, self-perform crews, and field engineering staff
• Developing and maintaining project schedules while identifying and mitigating schedule risks
• Driving a world-class safety culture and ensuring OSHA and project compliance
• Coordinating inspections, permits, quality control, and project logistics
• Managing General Requirements and General Conditions (GR/GC) budgets
• Reviewing work to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Resolving field issues and coordinating solutions with project stakeholders
• Overseeing Work-in-Place (WIP) reporting, subcontractor billing, and project documentation
• Building strong relationships with owners, trade partners, inspectors, and project teams
• Mentoring field engineers, interns, and assistant superintendents while helping develop future construction leaders

We're searching for a Superintendent who has the leadership ability to manage complex construction operations while maintaining exceptional safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Construction, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years of Superintendent or field leadership experience with a general contractor
• Experience managing federal, government, military, or secure facility construction projects is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of scheduling, construction engineering, estimating, procurement, contract administration, and project controls
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contract documents
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
