Job Description & How to Apply Below

Build something that lasts. Including your career.

At Boyd Jones, we build projects with intention, precision, and accountability. We’re seeking a Project Manager who brings thoughtful leadership, disciplined project execution style, strong communication and technical skills, and a steady commitment to delivering high-quality results.

What You’ll Be Accountable For
  • Delivering Projects Right — The First Time. You will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality are aligned and executed with precision.
  • Managing Financial Performance. You will own cost control, forecasting, change management, and reporting.
  • Holding the Standard With Subcontractors. You will set clear expectations, enforce commitments and follow through, address challenges constructively, and maintain strong, professional working relationships.
  • Managing Risk Before It Becomes a Problem. You will make and advocate for decisions that are based on data, not assumptions, maintaining a high standard of quality and escalating concerns early in the process to protect the project and the client.
Qualifications
  • At least five years of commercial construction project management experience
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, procurement, and documentation
  • Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software (P6 or MS Project)
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience
What We Offer
  • Competitive compensation aligned with experience and performance
  • Comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO)
  • Performance-based advancement within a defined career pathway — for professionals committed to long‑term development and increasing levels of responsibility
  • Professional, team-oriented work environment
  • Opportunities to lead meaningful commercial construction projects
Our Values
  • Safety. No compromises.
  • Partnership. Collaborative and respectful relationships.
  • Stewardship. Responsible management of resources.
  • Continuous Improvement. Ongoing learning and development.
  • Integrity. Honesty and accountability in every interaction.
