About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Creative Director to elevate Milan Laser Hair Removal's creative vision across the country. With 400+ locations nationwide performing over 90,000 treatments per month, Milan is the category leader in laser hair removal, and this role will ensure our creative output is aligned with the premium level of service that Milan provides while being culturally relevant, and driving measurable business impact.

The Creative Director will own creative strategy, concept development, art direction, copywriting, and creative production across all marketing touchpoints. A key focus will be translating Milan's brand positioning into breakthrough creative executions that resonate with diverse audiences across paid media, and owned channels. You will lead and inspire a high-performing in-house creative team to deliver innovative, high-quality work that balances creative excellence with performance optimization.

This role will be central to Milan's next chapter of growth, ensuring every creative touchpoint reflects Milan's quality, expertise, and commitment to exceptional client experiences. It reports to the VP of Brand.

Location

This is a 100% on-site role at our Omaha, NE office. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Essential Functions
  • Help define Milan’s brand positioning, ensuring differentiators are activated and our leadership in the category is continually reinforced while resonating with customer needs and pain points.
  • Lead the development and execution of creative concepts, campaign ideas, and monthly full funnel briefs that bring Milan's brand positioning to life across the customer journey with the flexibility for relevancy in social and the consistency throughout all touchpoints to reflect the Milan brand.
  • Define and evolve Milan's creative approach, ensuring all creative is grounded in brand strategy, customer insights, and business objectives.
  • Translate audience research, customer insights, and seasonal trends into creative briefs, concepts, and executions that connect authentically with target audiences.
  • Develop creative campaigns that extend across channels while allowing for flexibility, testing, and platform-specific optimization.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including Social, CRO, Performance Marketing, and Marketing Analytics, to ensure creative work is strategically aligned and performance-driven.
  • Translate brand strategy into exceptional visual identity across all marketing touchpoints.
  • Oversee art direction for photography, videography, graphic design, and motion graphics, ensuring Milan's visual identity is consistent, distinctive, and relevant.
  • Elevate design excellence across all deliverables, from performance marketing assets to social campaigns, ensuring quality, craft, attention to detail, while maintaining speed and agility.
  • Stay on top of design trends, platform best practices, and cultural aesthetics, ensuring Milan's creative feels fresh, modern, and resonant with Milan’s audiences.
  • Develop design systems, style guides, and creative standards that enable consistency and efficiency while allowing for creative expression and innovation.
  • Lead creative reviews and provide feedback that elevates work, develops team capabilities, and maintains creative standards.
Copywriting & Messaging
  • Own Milan's creative messaging strategy, ensuring copy is compelling, authentic, strategically aligned, and optimized for each platform and audience.
  • Translate brand positioning and campaign themes into clear, memorable, benefit-driven messaging that resonates with customer needs and motivations.
  • Support promotional planning through innovative concepts to help excite and engage clients about their laser journey
  • Lead copywriting for major campaigns, ads, social content, website copy, and in-practice messaging, crafting headlines, body copy, and calls-to-action that drive engagement and conversion.
