Under the direction of the vocal music teacher, this individual will accompany school choirs during rehearsals and concerts, assist the director in the leading of section rehearsals and concerts, and facilitate the rehearsal of individuals and small ensembles. Specific duties include playing warm‑ups, individual voice parts, combined choral parts, and accompaniment parts. The accompanist may perform clerical tasks and other related functions to support the curricular and extra‑curricular vocal and instrumental music programs of the high school.
