Hours:
Full-Time. Travel within Lincoln, Omaha and the state of Nebraska may be required; hours may extend beyond 9‑to‑5 and include weekends.

About the RoleWe are seeking a junior video editor for a variety of sports projects throughout Nebraska—including at the college, regional, and professional levels. The role reports directly to the Hurrdat Sports Director and will receive instruction from the senior Video Editor and Sports Director.
Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Hurrdat Sports team (senior video editor, sports director, social media strategist, and content creators) to produce multimedia content for social channels and the website.
- Generate new ideas for video projects and implement them across social media and web platforms.
- Capture behind‑the‑scenes footage during event coverage.
- Operate secondary camera during larger production shoots.
- Edit segments of video projects and support creative direction on assigned pieces.
- Perform additional tasks as reasonably requested by the Company.
- Proficiency with professional video editing applications.
- Ability to collaborate with clients and co‑workers on diverse projects.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented work style.
- Flexible schedule with willingness to work beyond typical hours.
- Strong interpersonal skills and networking ability.
- Preferred experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe Audition.
- Basic camera and video production knowledge.
- Successful completion of a pre‑employment background check.
Work is performed in a typical office environment. Tasks may involve lifting, pushing, pulling, or moving up to 15 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds, using proper lifting methods.
