The morning show host at KVNO hosts a live classical music program on KVNO Monday – Friday from 6 to 10 a.m. The host conducts prep relative to programmed music, benchmarks, features, and other events that happen on-air for the morning show. The host announces on-air and weaves together all elements of the program to create an engaging and high-quality program.
The morning show host also supports development as needed by attending select donor meetings. The host participates in staff meetings, station fund drives, KVNO events and marketing efforts, and serves as a representative of KVNO in the community along with other on-air hosts.
- Prep & hosting — Prepping and hosting the morning program every weekday from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Highly skilled in radio or a related creative field.
Required ExperienceThree years of on-air experience as a radio host or in a related field, and experience communicating to audiences in person and via other platforms.

Required Additional QualificationsExperience in radio or a related creative field. Experience creating content at a consistently high level on a regular basis.
Preferred EducationBachelor’s degree preferred.
Preferred ExperienceHosting a classical music radio program or podcast. Working in the arts or other affiliation with classical music.
