This public‑facing position in Parking and Transit Services serves as the first point of contact for visitors, event guests, and dignitaries needing parking on campus. The role manages access to restricted lots, provides customer service, and coordinates overflow situations.
Responsibilities- Operate parking booth equipment, including computers, databases, software, mechanical gate controls, communication devices, and signage.
- Greet visitors, verify parking reservations, authorize access, and direct customers to alternative parking when necessary.
- Collaborate with CEC and other departments to manage overflow situations and open lot space for bonus day parking by analyzing reservations and lot availability.
- Provide general parking information, communicate changes, resolve discrepancies, and maintain a hospitable and patient environment.
- Operate parking services vehicle as needed and assist management with additional duties.
- High School Education or equivalent.
- One year of customer service experience.
- One year of experience with databases, computer programs, and devices.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Two years of customer service experience.
- Two years of experience with databases, computer programs, devices, and parking.
