Front Desk Associate

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including the processing of guest check‑ins, member retention, and maintaining high‑quality customer service.

• Execute procedures as outlined by front‑desk manual
• Answer phones, take messages, and transfer calls
• Be knowledgeable of club amenities and surroundings
• Communicate kindly and sincerely using members’ names
• Attend all staff and club meetings and events
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with members and staff
• Ensure front desk is clean, maintained, and organized at all times
• Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations

• Present a professional demeanor at all times when representing Genesis Health Clubs
• Provide input in developing strategies to support club goals and objectives
• Respond to common inquiries or complaints from members

• Available to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to work well with others
• Experience in cash handling and credit card transactions
• Customer service abilities

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
• Ability to communicate with guests and other associates (reading, writing, and speaking)
