Job Type: Full-Time Salary: $24 – $27 per hour (based on experience and certification)

What You'll Do
  • Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant procedures
  • Anticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment area
  • Assist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation procedures
  • Ensure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate them on pre- and post-operative care
  • Prepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocols
  • Take dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directed
  • Assist with medical clearances and patient record management
  • Support office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when needed
  • Collaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care
Skills and Experience We're Looking For
  • Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant required
  • Valid certifications that meet applicable state requirements
  • Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precision
  • Self-starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and care
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
