Orthodontic Assistant Opportunity
Omaha Orthodontics is expanding our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Orthodontic Assistant to assist our four highly experienced orthodontists. Preferred candidates should love working with people in a fun and fast-paced environment and have experience in the dental field. Orthodontic experience is helpful but not necessary.
Responsibilities & Goals:
- Providing orthodontic health education to patients and parents
- Communicating with our patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Taking panoramic, cephalometric radiographs and intraoral photographs
- Ability to work alongside doctors for all orthodontic procedures
- Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
- iTero intraoral scanning
- Sterilization maintenance

Qualifications &
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited orthodontic assisting program preferred
- Preferred, but not required, 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant
- Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the orthodontic team
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in our Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
