Omaha Orthodontics is expanding our team! We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Orthodontic Assistant to assist our 4 highly experienced orthodontists. Preferred candidates should love working with people in a fun and fast paced environment, and have experience in the dental field. Orthodontic experience is helpful but not necessary.

Responsibilities & Goals:
  • Providing orthodontic health education to patients and parents
  • Communicating with our patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Taking panoramic, cephalometric radiographs and intraoral photographs
  • Ability to work alongside doctors for all orthodontic procedures
  • Willingness to learn new techniques and skills
  • iTero intraoral scanning
  • Sterilization maintenance

Qualifications &

Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited orthodontic assisting program preferred
  • Preferred, but not required, 1–2 years of experience as an orthodontic assistant or dental assistant
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and the orthodontic team
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  • Team members are expected to uphold the culture outlined in our Handbook, with a focus on our core values and any additional responsibilities as defined
