Role DescriptionThe Dental Assistant role at MiBoca Dentistry is a full-time, on-site position based in Omaha, NE. The Dental Assistant supports dentists during examinations and procedures, prepares and organizes treatment rooms, and ensures instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and maintained. Daily tasks include assisting with chairside procedures, taking and processing dental radiographs, updating patient treatment plans, and reinforcing oral care instructions provided by the dental team.
The role also involves welcoming patients, ensuring their comfort, managing patient flow, and collaborating with clinical and front-desk team members to deliver efficient, compassionate care.
- Proficiency in Dental Assisting, including chairside support, instrument handling, and patient preparation.
- Knowledge of Dental Care and Dentistry principles, with an understanding of common procedures and dental terminology.
- Strong skills in communication and organization
- Experience with Sterilization processes and infection control protocols in a clinical setting.
- Relevant dental assisting and X-ray certifications; current CPR certification preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to inclusive, respectful patient care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow detailed clinical protocols, and maintain accurate records.
- Previous experience in a dental practice or healthcare setting is beneficial; bilingual skills are a plus.
