Landscape Architect Project Manager

What You’ll Do- This role is a key member of our landscape architecture team, responsible for leading and managing complex landscape architecture projects from inception to completion.
- Implement a combination of strong design skills, project management expertise, and the ability to foster client relationships to deliver exceptional results.
- Lead, manage, and execute the technical aspects of each project, including developing designs, cost estimates, and design calculations.
- Prepare fee estimates, proposals, scope of work, schedules, and contracts for projects.
- Ensure quality and timely delivery through effective design processes and project workflow systems.
- Develop design documentation through all project stages from concept to construction and administrative support.
- Serve as lead designer/planner on a variety of project scales.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
- Perform detailed landscape architecture tasks such as project design, cost estimates, and design calculations.
- Prepare and facilitate project team and client meetings.
- Assist in the development of proposals and marketing materials.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including subconsultants, regulatory agencies, vendors, and contractors.
- Maintain project and client information in the firm's CRM and project management systems.
- Travel and work in various terrain and weather conditions at project sites.
- Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture from an accredited four‑year college or university.
- Licensed Landscape Architect with 4‑6 years of experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in design‑based software applications, including CAD and GIS.
- Additional computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
- Strong organizational and technical skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle and delegate multiple tasks effectively.
- Self‑sufficient teamwork skills and the ability to work independently.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, including the ability to define problems, evaluate alternatives, and present recommendations.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and the ability to follow them.
- Understanding of current local and state specifications for public works construction.
- Strong presentation skills, both oral and written.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
