Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage the design process, interfacing with internal and external design partners.
- Adapt site specific conditions, metrics and standards to store designs.
- Build data driven scope of work with internal stakeholders, focused on servicing operating stores.
- Develop FF&E and Décor packages.
- Work with key internal and external stakeholders in the development and production of comprehensive design development packages.
- Create presentation packages to communicate design with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Drive and create Schematic Design Packages.
- Coordinate with Construction, Procurement and Operations Teams on budget and schedule considerations and value engineering efforts.
- Manage consultants throughout all phases of design through the project lifecycle.
- Provide Construction Administrative support as needed.
- Archive completed drawings, redlines, and shop drawings.
- Obtain landlord approvals per lease requirements.
- Review and approve submittals and shop drawings.
- Knowledge of building and health codes, 3D visualization and industry trends.
- Communicate design vision in visual, written and verbal formats.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects requiring frequent communication, organization, time management and problem‑solving skills.
- Solutions oriented, proactive and flexible, willingness to take an “all hands‑on deck” approach.
This position will work closely with cross‑functional teams, external consultants and vendors throughout the store development process. Oversight of consultant performance is critical. The role communicates with business partners at every level, including leadership.

We specialize in executing complex renovations that elevate the Amazon experience across our established store network.
Basic Qualifications- Experience managing multiple complex projects and adapting to change
- Experience reading, interpreting and creating construction drawings, specifications and submittal documents
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 5+ years of commercial retail design or architecture experience
- Experience with end‑to‑end ownership of major project deliverables
- Experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office Suite
- Grocery or Retail Experience
- Architectural or Interior Design FF&E Experience

Compensation and BenefitsThe base salary range for this position varies by location. The package also includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs), 401(k) matching, paid time off and parental leave.
