AECOM is seeking a Senior CADD/BrIM Technician/Designer
- Bridge Design to be based in AECOM's Chicago office to work on exciting local, regional, and national projects.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Performs complex CADD assignments and coordinates CADD drawing production in support of the CADD manager.
- Performs advanced applications, scales, and edit assignments involving the use of computer-aided design and drafting equipment and other graphics software (e.g., CADD software) to achieve set results and deadlines.
- Digitize or trace sketches or concepts from designers using CADD software, such as AutoCAD or Micro Station.
- Decisions made with general understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices to achieve general results and deadlines.
- Responsible for setting own project deadlines.
- Understands the implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments.
- May lead less experienced drafters.
- Bachelor's Degree + 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency and/or education.
- Ability to pass MVR check + traditional background screening process.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience with Bridge Structures Design
- Bentley Microstation, Openroads, Open bridge and Autocad Civil 3D proficient
- Proficient in BrIM workflows
- Ability to communicate and work in a team environment
- No relocation offered with this opportunity.
