* POSITION SUMMARY:

** The Industrial Engineer II is a problem-solver, facilitator, change agent, innovator, resource, designer and project manager. Responsible for performing these functions on issues as they are assigned (or arise) in the designated area.
** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

* Responsible for the successful completion of projects with clearly defined goals and scope and concise project progress reports.
* Evaluates need, analyzes options, develops plan, develops Appropriation Request (AR) and manages implementation of project until completed within the allotted time frame.
* Assists support personnel in less complex technical matters as needed.
* Develops, installs and maintains optimum processes for the safe manufacture of quality product in a productive manner using modern manufacturing methods.
* Develops procedures in standardized work format and provides training on new processes, tools and equipment, including but not limited to developing and designing workplace layout and methods through the optimal use of motion economy principles, ergonomics, handling devices, etc.
* Develops, implements and maintains equitable labor standards, adhering to organizational procedures for delay studies and labor standards.
