Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Creighton Prep is currently accepting applications for a full‑time faculty position in the Student Support Services Department as a 9‑12 school counselor beginning in August 2026.

  • Deliver all aspects of the comprehensive counseling program with a caseload of approximately 250 students from each grade level
  • Coaching or moderating teams, clubs, or other extra‑curricular activities
Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree in school counseling is required
  • Valid Nebraska Teaching Certificate with the secondary school guidance endorsement or the ability to obtain one prior to August 2026
  • Experience in career and college guidance or high school college counseling (at least 3 years) is strongly preferred
  • Experience with and desire to engage in extracurricular activities such as coaching or moderating clubs and activities is highly desirable
