St. James/Seton Catholic School is excited to invite a caring and enthusiastic elementary teacher to join our faith-filled learning community. We are seeking an educator who loves working with children, values strong relationships, and is committed to nurturing students’ academic, social, and spiritual growth.
Our ideal candidate is an educator who:
- Creates a positive, structured, and engaging classroom environment that supports student learning
- Models and supports the Catholic faith through daily interactions and instruction
- Provides engaging, student-centered instruction across elementary content areas
- Differs instruction to meet the diverse needs of all learners
- Builds strong, collaborative relationships with students and families
- Uses assessment data to inform instruction and celebrate student growth
- Collaborates effectively with colleagues and contributes to a supportive, mission-driven elementary team
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated, and developmentally appropriate instruction aligned with curriculum standards
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment. Be able to use technology effectively.
- Integrate Catholic values and teachings into daily instruction and classroom culture
- Assess student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and administration to support student learning
- Participate in school liturgies, events, and ongoing professional development
- Support and uphold the mission and philosophy of the Catholic Church and the school
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (required)
- Valid teaching license or ability to obtain one
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Commitment to Catholic education
