• Incorporate all standards established by the Archdiocese of Omaha and Nebraska Department of Education
• Plans and implements effective teaching with research-based pedagog
• Positively fosters students’ self-esteem
• Communicates with parents and school staff on student progress
• Assesses student learning and adapts instruction based on student data and needs
• Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve instructional effectiveness

• Support and uphold the philosophy of Catholic education and the mission of Christ the King Catholic School
• Integrate Catholic faith, values, and traditions into classroom instruction and the overall school environment
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate best practices
• Utilize effective classroom management strategies appropriate for preschool-aged children
• Design and implement play‑based, hands‑on learning experiences that support academic, social, and emotional growth
• Build positive, collaborative relationships with students, families, and colleagues
• Show a strong commitment to Catholic education and actively support the mission of the Church

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field required
• Early Childhood endorsement preferred
• Nebraska teaching certificate (or ability to obtain certification) required

• Previous preschool or early childhood teaching experience preferred
