Special Education Life Skills Paraprofessional; TS

Applications are being accepted for a 7‑hour per day Special Education Life Skills Paraprofessional position at Two Springs Elementary School. The special‑education paraprofessional works under the direction and supervision of a teacher or other designated member of the school staff and helps special‑education students acquire skills and competencies taught by the classroom teacher.

Duties include supervising and working with students one‑on‑one and in small groups when needed, assisting the teacher in the classroom, providing physical assistance, assisting in the lunchroom, and supporting toileting, transportation, and recreational activities in all areas of the building.

Applicants must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others, with or without reasonable accommodations, and must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position for its full duration.

This position is subject to veterans preference.

Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
