Director of Admissions

Reporting to the Vice President of Enrollment Management, the Director for Admissions is expected to function both independently and collaboratively with the campus community to identify, support, and coordinate new and transfer student recruitment efforts.

• Design and implement recruitment and admissions strategies to identify, attract, and enroll students, and monitor and report on regional, state, national, and global enrollment trends.
• Understand the competitive landscape and respond accordingly, while communicating the advantages and values to prospective students and establishing a strong customer service focus.
• Oversee the administration of all recruitment processes, including maintaining a written current recruitment plan.
• Design and implement programs for assigned admissions areas, including recruitment of graduate and undergraduate students, onboarding, orientation, campus visits, and transfer student services.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of recruitment, orientation, and assigned admissions practices to remain current.
• Coordinate recruitment activities with other departments and student service units.
• Represent CSC and Enrollment Management in public speaking and various formats, and attend college-sponsored activities and appropriate conferences.
• Provide leadership for assigned areas, making recommendations to the Vice President for Enrollment Management on marketing, website, policy changes, procedures updates, outcome assessments, and budget review.
• Manage, assess, and renew all Enrollment Management’s Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and vendor/service contracts, and aid in the development and oversight of partnership agreements.

• Manage assigned web pages and social media content.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of experience with Admissions and/or an associated position in Higher Education.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proven data collection and analysis skills.
• Willingness to travel with driving in winter conditions and work a flexible schedule.

• Master’s degree.
• Experience in admissions, marketing, public relations, and supervisory roles.
• Experience successfully serving and working with diverse, first‑generation, and underrepresented populations.

• Successful background record check.
• License and certification requirements:
  None.

Up to $75,000.
