Overview

Applications are being accepted for a 7 hour per day Special Education Resource Paraprofessional position at Belleaire Elementary School. Duties include working with students in small groups and individually under the direction of the teacher. • Assist in lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and in recreational activities as directed.
• Provide support to students in small groups and individually under the direction of the teacher.
• Provide physical assistance when necessary.

• State of Nebraska requires applicants to have 2 years of college completed. If you do not have this, there is a paraprofessional test you can take to qualify.
• Not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Must be capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned for the duration of the assignment.
• Duty hours are typically Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.
• This position is subject to a veterans preference.
