Position Overview
The Department of Biology at Creighton University invites applications for a Resident Assistant Professor specializing in organismal or cellular physiology. This is a one‑year renewable appointment with a 4‑4 course load that includes mammalian physiology and general biology, as well as additional courses in areas of expertise, dependent on departmental needs. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities- Teach a 4‑4 course load in organismal or cellular physiology.
- Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in mammalian physiology and general biology.
- Provide academic advising and support to undergraduate students.
- Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field (ABD will be considered).
- Demonstrated ability to foster student learning and development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diversity of populations.
- Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others.

- Three letters of recommendation, at least two of which should speak to the candidate’s teaching ability.
