Resident Assistant Professor - Biology - Physiology

Position Overview

The Department of Biology at Creighton University invites applications for a Resident Assistant Professor specializing in organismal or cellular physiology. This is a one‑year renewable appointment with a 4‑4 course load that includes mammalian physiology and general biology, as well as additional courses in areas of expertise, dependent on departmental needs. Prior teaching experience is preferred, but not required.

• Teach a 4‑4 course load in organismal or cellular physiology.
• Develop and deliver undergraduate courses in mammalian physiology and general biology.
• Provide academic advising and support to undergraduate students.

• Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field (ABD will be considered).
• Demonstrated ability to foster student learning and development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a diversity of populations.
• Empathy and compassion for the experiences of others.
