Position SummaryResponsible for the coordination of activities related to the Graduate Studies Office. Manages all activities related to admissions, matriculation, progress toward completion of degrees, and graduation of all UNMC graduate students. Coordination of staff and resources and problem resolution in the Graduate Studies Office. Direct and frequent contact with all graduate academic programs and with the Office of the Dean of the Graduate College in Varner Hall.

Required
Education:
3 years of increasingly responsible administrative experience of which a minimum of one year includes student services related experience.
Required License:
None.
Required Computer Applications:
Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and work with students and faculty members of varied backgrounds, including international students.
- Computer skills including word processing, student information systems, and webpage development.
- Ability to carry out tasks with accuracy and attention to detail, even when under pressure or approaching a deadline.
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
Experience with higher education.
Preferred Skills- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Student Information Systems.
