Clarkson College is currently seeking an Academic Travel and Mission Administrator. The Academic Travel and Mission Administrator leads and manages college academic and professional travel enrichment activities, curriculum, as well as mission-related and interprofessional education activities for students, faculty, staff, and the greater Clarkson College community. The Administrator is also responsible for overseeing all program functions, guiding and educating all constituents, maintaining faculty responsibilities within the College, and sustaining ongoing collaboration with partner institutions, academic directors, and interprofessional programs on campus.
Responsibilities- Lead and manage college academic and professional travel enrichment activities and curriculum.
- Oversee mission-related and interprofessional education activities for over 1,200 students, 7,000 alumni, 200 employees and external constituents.
- Guide and educate faculty, staff, and students in travel, mission, and interprofessional programs.
- Collaborate with partner institutions, academic departments, interdisciplinary faculty committees, and college leadership.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts related to interprofessional education, missions, and academic travel.
- Master's degree from an accredited college in education, the arts and sciences, or health-related fields.
- Minimum two (2) years of higher education teaching experience.
- Strong leadership, organizational, oral, and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents.
- Demonstrated capabilities in customer service, project management, and strategic prioritization.
- Ability to work in a consultative role with a broad range of constituents, including outside vendors, academic departments, interdisciplinary faculty committees, and college staff and leadership.
- Self‑starter and team‑builder; ability to set clear expectations.
- Doctorate (terminal) degree in related field of study.
- Previous travel or mission experience.
- Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, Survey Monkey, and Learning Management Systems.
