The Assistant Director of Undergraduate Campus Ministry is responsible for the supervision and oversight of Campus Ministry's areas specific to the spiritual formation and accompaniment of undergraduate students inspired by Creighton’s Jesuit tradition and Ignatian identity. They collaborate with key staff members to identify ways to intentionally deepen Ignatian formation into new and existing offerings.
The Assistant Director supervises four staff members whose areas focus on retreats, small faith‑sharing groups, faith formation, and community life. They support these staff members in their programming, help identify areas for growth and outreach to Creighton undergraduate students, and are directly responsible for implementation of some ministerial programming.
The Assistant Director also handles various administrative tasks, including coordinating Campus Ministry communication efforts such as social media and a video reflection series. They collaborate with professional and student staff to build timelines for postings and advertisements, coordinate several Campus Ministry events, and manage internal office and university tasks.
The Assistant Director serves as a pastoral presence to students and assists in an on‑call capacity when the Director is unavailable, acting as the second in line to support students in moments of crisis.
The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of Campus Ministry.
