Job PurposeSupport post-secondary goals and objectives by implementing, coordinating, and tracking programming supports for a caseload of P4K students.
Essential Job FunctionsCoordinates, leads, and assists with the development and implementation of post-secondary programming for caseload students and recruitment of P4K (Partnership 4 Kids) high school students
- Provide one-on-one support to college students and their families to promote retention, academic progress, and graduation. Maintain consistent communication with students and families through various channels to support goal attainment and implement intervention plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate case notes and data tracking to monitor student outcomes and support services.
- Build and maintain relationships with university and high school partners to support student transitions, retention, and post-secondary success.
- Plan and implement student engagement events, such as but not limited to, lunch and learns, study sessions, and the summer bridge program.
- Work independently on college campuses by meeting students in accessible campus locations.
- Ensure students participate and follow the guidelines for the College Peer Mentoring Program and Laptop Lending Library to enhance academic achievement and student engagement.
Administer scholarships and oversee post-secondary caseload tracking, outcomes, and grant requirements.
- Provide oversight to data tracking for caseload scholarship participants including grades, financial aid assessment, and years of funding, utilizing Civicore and excel documents.
- Track and document interventions and services provided through case notes and other data collection mechanisms.
- Determine scholarship amounts based on financial paperwork and information and disperses the funds to institutions. Adhere to and make recommendations to policy guidelines set forth by the scholarship endowment and produce reports to support compliance with these guidelines.
- Maintain records of scholarship activities and sends appropriate correspondence to recipients outlining scholarship guidelines and updates.
- Assist as needed with grant submissions, board reporting, data and outcomes assessments, program evaluations including administering student surveys, alumni network engagement and marketing student success to donors and stakeholders.
Team/Agency Goals
- Contribute to individual, team and agency goals by assisting with programming, volunteer and development goals, including special projects, events, recruitment and retention of donors, volunteers and students and all other duties as assigned.
- Participate in agency committees as needed.
- Attend relevant training focusing on mentorship, volunteer management, and youth development.
- Use personal vehicles or agency vehicle to drive to school meetings, student and agency special events, and as needed, provide transportation for program participants.
