Director of Player Personnel & Video – Men’s Ice Hockey

Job Grade: AB15S Division – Intercollegiate Athletics. Full-time, 100% FTE.

Work Schedule:

Varies. Remote:
No. Appointment Term: 12 months. Pay: $44,000 – $50,000 annually. FLSA Designation:
Exempt.

Job Summary

This position facilitates the day‑to‑day needs of the Men’s Ice Hockey Team. The director assists the coaching staff with recruiting, events, planning, and administrative tasks, oversees all video needs for the coaches, markets and sells the program to potential recruits through on‑campus recruiting efforts, and serves as a liaison among alumni, booster groups, students, academics, community service organizations, and other stakeholders.

The director works closely with arena staff, academic advising, admissions, sports information, and other athletic department staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

The director will:

  • Assist coaching staff with recruiting, events, planning, and administrative tasks.
  • Oversee all video production and editing for the team.
  • Market and sell the hockey program to potential recruits.
  • Act as liaison between alumni, boosters, students, academics, and community service organizations.
  • Collaborate daily with arena staff, academic advising, admissions, sports information, and other athletic department staff.
  • Operate efficiently and effectively in various situations.
Qualifications
  • Required

    Education:

    Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required Experience:

    An equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Preferred Experience:

    Prior experience working in or playing hockey.
