This senior scientist position will be actively engaged in the research mission. Responsible for interdisciplinary research collaboration, sustaining funded research, maintenance of a national presence with regard to research, and mentoring junior nurse scientists and graduate students. Participates in the tripartite faculty role of research, teaching, and service.

Terminal degree required; doctorate in nursing preferred. Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Nebraska.

• Clear demonstration of scholarly work and career development, including research projects that have received major funding, and scholarly publications in refereed research journals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to guide others in their research.
• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal relations and communication skills.
