JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARYThe Industrial Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Electrical Mechanical Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance.
Teaching a full range of electrical coursework in the Electrical Mechanical courses.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Minimum of 8 years full‑time related occupational experience or approved Journey‑worker status
- Associate’s degree in career field and 4 years full‑time related occupational experience
- Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline and 2 years full‑time related occupational experience required.
May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.
A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process.
Hiring process includes passing a background check.
