Pay
The starting salary for a non-credentialed individual is $42,500. Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree and five years of teaching experience, who are hired to teach Math, Science, Special Education, or Multi-Subject Credentials, are eligible for a starting salary of $51,957. Candidates with a Master’s degree, 7 years of teaching experience from an accredited institution in a field related to the position, and who are hired to teach Math, Science, Special Education, or Multi-Subject Credentials, are eligible for a starting salary of $60,813.
Candidates with more experience and multi-subject credentials have a higher starting salary rate.

Serve as a member of the Education Department. Primary responsibility is to implement and adhere to the principles of Positive Organizational Culture and provide instructional services to students. Work collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion, emphasizing a positive attitude toward students, staff, and program.
To be considered- At least 21 years of age
- Current and valid Nebraska teaching credential in Special Education K-12
- Preferred: multiple credentials in Math and Science
- Bachelor’s degree in the Education field from an accredited college or university
- Three or more years of successful classroom teaching
- Related experience working with at‑risk youth ages 13‑17
- Ability to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Ability to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
School YearUta Halee is a Nebraska Rule 13 (Exempt School) and runs year-round. We follow OPS guidelines as closely as possible regarding school breaks and teacher planning days throughout the year. A short one-week break is provided during the summer.
