Associate Professor – Professor / Rank DOQ (Faculty)

This senior scientist position will be actively engaged in the research mission. Responsibilities include interdisciplinary research collaboration, sustaining funded research, maintaining a national presence regarding research, and mentoring junior nurse scientists and graduate students. The role participates in the tripartite faculty responsibilities of research, teaching, and service.

• Terminal degree required; doctorate in nursing preferred.
• Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Nebraska.
• Clear demonstration of scholarly work and career development, including research projects that have received major funding, and scholarly publications in refereed research journals.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to guide others in their research.
• Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal relations and communication skills.

The primary working environment is office-based with some clinical responsibilities.
