Position SummaryWork directly with UNMC and UNO faculty and staff, Omaha Public Schools certified high school teachers, and students in the development and successful implementation of E‑Learning interventions for Nebraska students in grades 6‑12.
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 2 years experience in curriculum development of instructional or educational materials in K‑12, higher education, or a corporate learning environment.
- State of Nebraska Department of Education teacher certification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
- High level of interpersonal communication skill required to interact with faculty, students, staff, and science teachers; ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects; self‑starter who works independently; strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse population of faculty, students, and staff.
- Experience developing curriculum and teaching science in a middle school or high school classroom.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Microsoft Office 365, presentation software, Adobe Creative Cloud, learning management systems, E‑Learning authoring software, web content management, cloud‑based creative development tools.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies used to teach middle and high school students health science curriculum.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
- Self‑starter who works independently and will take the initiative to interact with faculty and e‑Learning developers.
- Strong team player skills and the ability to work harmoniously with a diverse population of faculty, students, and staff.
