Creighton University School of Law invites applicants for a visiting assistant professor position to teach in the Law School’s legal research and writing (LRW) program.
Responsibilities:
Teach two or three courses in the fall and spring semester of the LRW program. This includes a 3-credit, upper‑level writing course focusing on appellate brief writing, oral argument, and contract drafting; a 2-credit, entry‑level course for 1
Ls; and a 3-credit research and writing course in spring covering demand letters, pleadings, discovery, and pretrial motion practice.
- Must possess a J.D. degree, with a strong academic record.
- Must have exceptional legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to foster student learning, development, and decision making.
- Two or more years of experience in a clerkship and/or law practice.
- Prior teaching experience preferred.
