Starting salary for a non‑credentialed individual is $42,500.
Candidates holding a Bachelor’s degree and five years of teaching experience, hired to teach Math, Science, Special Education, or Multi‑Subject Credentials, are eligible for a starting salary of $51,957.
Candidates with a Master’s degree, seven years of teaching experience from an accredited institution in a field related to the position, and hired to teach Math, Science, Special Education, or Multi‑Subject Credentials receive a starting salary of $60,813.

What you will doServe as a member of the Education Department. Primarily responsible for implementing and adhering to the principles of Positive Organizational Culture and providing instructional services to students. Works collaboratively with staff in a supportive fashion, emphasizing a positive attitude toward students, staff, and program.
To be considered- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a current and valid Nebraska teaching credential in Special Education K‑12.
- Preferred multiple credentials in Math and Science.
- Bachelor’s degree in the Education field from an accredited college or university.
- Have three or more years of successful classroom teaching.
- Have related experience working with at‑risk youth ages 13‑17.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
- Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry.
Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Uta Halee is a Nebraska Rule 13 (Exempt School) and runs year‑round. We follow OPS guidelines as closely as possible regarding school breaks and teacher planning days throughout the year. A short one‑week break is provided during the summer.
