Job Description Summary
The Manufacturing Technology department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Manufacturing Technology Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion, and the use of the classroom/lab experience to enhance workplace understanding and performance. The instructor will teach a range of coursework in process manufacturing and power operations relevant to manufacturing industries and may work day, evening, or weekend classes and travel to other campuses.
Responsibilities- Teach coursework in process manufacturing and power operations to a diverse student body.
- Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or college activities.
- Minimum of 8 years full‑time related occupational experience OR approved journey‑worker status; OR an associate’s degree in a career field and 4 years full‑time related occupational experience; OR a bachelor’s degree in the discipline or a related discipline and 2 years full‑time related occupational experience.
- Ability to conduct a teaching demonstration as part of the interview process.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. The current rate is $580 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH). Minimum pay is $0.00, but actual compensation will be higher based on experience and qualifications.
