Undergraduate Nursing Clinical Program Administrator

This position serves as a role model, teacher, consultant, change agent and facilitator in assessing learning needs of clinical staff and students in planning, implementing and evaluating programs and activities for undergraduate nursing students.

This position oversees clinical site instructors in their instructional role and maintains contact and assists in establishing contracts with numerous clinical sites. Takes direction from the Undergraduate Nursing Director and Assistant Director, acts as a liaison between the program and the clinical sites, and provides direction to students during the clinical process.

• Serve as a role model, teacher, consultant, change agent and facilitator in assessing learning needs of clinical staff and students; plan, implement and evaluate programs and activities for undergraduate nursing students.
• Oversee clinical site instructors in their instructional role and maintain contact; assist in establishing contracts with numerous clinical sites.
• Take direction from the Undergraduate Nursing Director and Assistant Director; act as a liaison between the program and the clinical sites; provide direction to students during the clinical process.

• Master’s degree from an accredited college in education, the arts and sciences, or health-related fields required.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a clinical registered nurse position required.
• Current nursing licensure in the discipline in the State of Nebraska or a compact state required.
• Minimum two (2) years of higher education teaching experience required.
• Strong leadership, organizational, oral, and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate as part of a team with diverse constituents required.
• Demonstrated capabilities in customer service and strategic prioritization required.
• Ability to work in a consultative role with a broad range of constituents, including outside vendors, academic departments, interdisciplinary faculty committees, and College staff and leadership required.
• Self-starter and team-builder; ability to set clear expectations required.

• Doctorate (terminal) degree in related field of study preferred.
• Experience with curriculum development is preferred.
• Higher education administration or previous management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, Survey Monkey, Learning Management Systems preferred.
