We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team at Stone Bridge Academy as a Full-time Toddler Classroom Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with preschoolers aged 3 - 5 years old, and ensuring their safety, well‑being, and development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assisting the Lead Teacher
- Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the children in our care
- Aid in the implementation of age‑appropriate activities and curriculum that promote learning and development
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique needs
- Ability to manage routines and schedules
- Communication
- Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed about their child's progress and maintain a collaborative and supportive relationship
- Work closely with a team of experienced caregivers to ensure the smooth operation of the preschool program
- Be active and participating in team culture and conversations via Slack and other communication avenues as needed
Education and Experience
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Licensed driver with reliable transportation
- Must have one of the following qualifications:
- Minimum of 1500 verifiable hours working with kids
- CDA
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in child education or development OR related field
- Must be able to pass Nebraska State Fingerprinting and a background check

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to sit on the floor with kids
- Ability to work outside in various weather conditions while children play
