Job Description We are looking for a talented individual...To join our team as an HVAC Technician! We have partnered with a regional utility company to implement a demand response program utilizing load control receivers attached to customers’ AC unit. You will be providing QAQC of load control devices and subsequent service and removal when needed. You will be informing the customer and educating them on program details upon customer request.

This is a year-round position that provides a company vehicle, laptop, tablet, tools, PPE safety equipment, and work attire.

Other work will include performing residential home energy audits and diagnostic testing to identify efficiency opportunities and improve overall home performance. This role includes conducting building assessments, operating diagnostic equipment (e.g., blower doors and combustion safety tools), documenting findings, and recommending energy-saving measures to customers. The technician works directly with homeowners, ensuring a positive customer experience while supporting the program goals for safety, quality, and energy savings.

You are confident in your ability to troubleshoot AC issues and determine the correct course of action.

Perform quality observations on the device to determine functionality, including looking at the wiring and lights on the device and will then perform service or removal of devices as needed

In this exciting career opportunity, you will have…Associate degree in HVAC certification or NATE certification1-3 years of relevant industry experience or a combination of training, education, and work experience in a related field required

Valid drivers license

Physical Nature of the Job Bending, crouching, kneeling frequently

Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

Lift, carry or push up to 50 pound

Use power tools

Type of Work This is not a work-from-home position; you will be in the field servicing customers

Driving

Are at least 21 years of age Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard

Target Compensation $26-30/hrDOT Requirements If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.

Compensation Range $21.10 - $31.70

CurrencyUSDType Hourly Any  offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
