Project Manager​/Geologist

Position: Project Manager/Staff Geologist

Execute project work appropriate for experience level related to due diligence site investigation and characterization remediation and related environmental consulting areas

Work closely with the Operations Manager to develop new clients and expand services provided to existing clients

Actively participate in professional and technical organizations appropriate for core skill set and client needs

Prepare reports by assisting with data compilation reduction interpretation evaluation and comparison to state andor federal environmental regulatory standards

Positively interact with internal and external clients service partners and contractors

Promote a safety first culture that values proactive measures and continuous improvement

Collaborate with other team members toward a common goal of providing client centric services with high quality interactions and deliverables

Embrace and model the Atlas core values including trust mastery heart and life Minimum requirements Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Soil Science Geology Engineering Geography or other applied science

Minimum 3 years of experience including a combination of project management field work data evaluation technical writing and QAQC in the environmental consulting field

Working knowledge of procedures and methodologies related to due diligence site investigation remediation and environmental compliance

Experience with project management and participation in professional organizations

Experience with implementation and supervision of health and safety requirements

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or in a team setting

Must be able to pass drug screen and motor vehicle background check

Ability to lift 50 lbs Preferred to report to the Omaha NE or Waterloo IA office

May also report to surrounding offices in Kansas City KS St Louis MO or North Platte NETechnical requirements

Experience with environmental consulting and regulatory requirements in Nebraska and Iowa
40 hr HAZWOPER training and 8 hour annual refresher

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word Outlook Teams Excel and Power Point Other  miscellaneous qualities Excellent problem solving and general scientific evaluation skills

Excellent time management skills attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities on an ongoing basis

Excellent oral and written communication skills
